In October I bought a Cyberhome EX162A-E from Tigerdirect. This issupposed to be a firewire connected external DVD DL burner. The first
one I got was dead in the box, one phone call to TD and they replaced
 it...no problems.

When I got the new drive I had to go out on business for about 5 weeks.
Then I didn't have time to try the new drive out until a couple of
 weeks ago.

 Long story short...new drives plays DVD's, reads DVD's but won't burn a
DVD to save my life. I am using NERO that came with the drive, and I
have tried Pinnacle and MS video software.

Everytime I get "Unknown Burn Error" and it bombs back to the
 application.

So I call TD and of course they now want me to talk to Cyberhome. I
call Cyberhome at 1-888-302-2727 and get auto attendent hell. I held
on for about 40 minutes and never got to speak to anyone. So I call
back, hit option for RMA request...I'm told to go to the website and
fill out form online...after 20 mins waiting.

 I go to http://www.cyberhome.com

I go to the service page to select my model....and it is not listed.
It's listed online in their catalog if I want to buy one, but the
EX162E-A is not listed on the list of items you can get a RMA for.

SO I figure I am just screwed. So the least I can do is come here and
 say:

CYBERHOME IS CRAP DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
