Your attempt to sound old school loses a bit in the face of such lines
as 'So can the XBOX record video' or 'What exactly do you mean by
streaming video' or 'I can't figure out how to buy an XBOX on ebay'.
For the record, my networking only goes back to the early 90s and a
beat up copy of Lantastic, but then again, I have mastered teh search
engine so we can debate whose doing better in the grand scheme of
things.

No, I am simply pointing out that if one doesn't know about gravity,
asking questions about airplanes is overstepping things a bit.

Somewhere a bell dings loudly.

Most people are away of Google, if you are not I would recommend it.
Quite handy that.

Is it compensation, or more annoyance because I'm riding a thin line
between 'somebody is lacking a clue' or 'this guy is having a piss'. It
might be the former after all, but still.. its a fairly simple process
and one that most people can figure out on their own. Perhaps you
should invest a little time in learning how to obtain information from
this internet thing, it can be a very handy tool if you know how to use
it. M

Once again trying to amaze me with your mad embedded development skills
loses a bit when you apparently have to ask twice if a DVD player can
record video standard.

Oh we're a hacker as well? Perhaps if you blow on your captain crunch
whistle long enough the Internet will bring information to you? Not
sure if that will work or not. As for personal knowledge, *I* can at
least use e-bay. I understand the difference between a DVD player and a
DVR. Maybe you should work on that a bit first before you start calling
people out.
