As I made abundantly clear, I checked the clip with WinDVD and WMP.
The subtitle was present.

As I also made abundantly clear, AGK acknowledged the presence of the
subtitle by presenting it in the Subtitle dialog by name ("English").

As I also made abundantly clear, AGK later acknowledged that it had
processed the subtitle in the Log.
