I just got through (finally!) a little after 4:00 CST. Yes, the guy I
spoke with was friendly and he instructed me to send my machine to their
Service & Engineering Dept. in N. J. We'll see how long it takes for
repairs and whether they fix the problems. I'll try to remember to report
back to the NG. So, temporarily at least, my opinion of JVC has gone up a
bit.
