I've got a Panasonic DVD S35 DVD player and as I only have an old TV
with no scart socket I have to run it through my VCR, meaning I cant
watch DVDs with macrovision enabled.

I'm told that you need to rent a Panasonic remote control to make the
player region free but that it can't turn off macrovision. It seems the
only option is to buy a macrovision removal cable but I don't have any
guarentees this will work.

Has anyone had any experience overriding macrovision on this player or
using those macrovision cables in general that could give me some
advice?
