Strange... getting geared for Halloween I've been going through the
Universal Legacy sets.

The final Mummy movie (the Mummy's Curse) comes up with the "This
Picture has been formatted to fit your screen" warning.

?

Since it came out in 1944 I'm pretty sure it was always 1.33:1, just a
goof on Universal's part? Or was someone so far ahead of their time
that they were actually doing widescreen flicks in 1944?
