We do have the correct cabling set up:-
1.Main/external coax from wall socket to input of DVD recorder.
2.Separate Coax cable from output of DVD to t.v input.
3.Also,Scart cable from 'Scart 1' of DVD recorder to Scart socket of
t.v


This set up works for the new Cyberhome DVD recorder but never has done
for the Mico machine. The Mico DVD recorder could never be tuned
correctly it seemed because when the auto process was used to scan
signal, it never locked in to any channel apart from AV. On the new
machine it goes through the process normal as a video player would do
and picks up all tv broadcast signals.
We can record on the Mico any channel but must use the AV select on the
remote, it does
seem to pick up correct signal but as mentioned could not be tuned in
the initial setup.
