I was 31st in the queue when our local Lid'l store opened at 0900. They
only had about 5 for sale so I dipped out.
I take it you got there early enough to get one or is someone else
selling them at that price?
Elsewhere I have been told that it's a re-badged Liteon 5045GDL and if
you go to e-buyers site you will find many favourable reviews.
They also give a link to a forum which you might find useful.
BTW the instructions given for region free are exactly as yours above.
I might have to bite the bullet and shell out the extra for the Liteon.
That'll teach me to get up earlier in the morning!!
