You said you're looking for a DVD player, not a recorder. If that's so,
then you only have to worry about the signal from the player to the TV.
You said the TV has composite video (single yellow RCA jack) and 2-channel
stereo audio (red and white RCA jacks) inputs. So, look for a player with
this type of output. Most (but not all) will have it. When you want to
watch a DVD, set your TV for video input. An RF modulator is neither
required nor desired.
