What you say makes sens, that the expensive TV (37PF9830 in my case) has
a better scaling than cheaper DVD-s. How about Marantz DV-6600(HDMI-out,
video scaling 1080i)? It is a 500$ class. In the store, where I wonted
to buy Pioneer DV-585, went totally crazy on me when I told them witch
TV I was going to put it on, saying that it is nonsense to put 200$ dvd
on that TV. Personally all I want from a DVD player is to play every DVD
that I put in it, and have picture that i can say is good. Its not like
I want HiFi video vise quality.
