Just make sure you don't have anything running that could overwhelm
the CPU. And unless you have a UOS (I do), don't flash during a
weather event where you could lose power. Make sure you dump a copy of
the existing f/w just in case. Some people like to boot into the Safe
Mode. Make sure the 3540 is the master on the secondary IDE channel.
Then click on the flash. I have done it twice on my 3540 and it worked
both times. I only do it to defeat Riplock. I do not like to
overspeed.
