Do you have a DVD writer burner in your computer?

If you do, what you want to do will be sooooooo much easier to do within
your computer.

To export an edited file from the computer to an external stand- alone DVD
recorder is fraught with difficulties least of which is it will take *real*
time plus, in other words you will have to play it back in the PC and the
output will go into the DVD recorder AS AN ANALOG signal!! If your family
compile is 3 hours it will take 3+ hours to do and you won't get the chance
to do your own fancy menu's and buttons etc, you will be stuck with whatever
the external unit does.

An internal DVD/CD writer will cost around US$65 and is very easy to install
if you presently have only a CD writer installed.
