The DVR530H has an RF input and analogue tuner just like a TV or VCR. It
also has an RF loop through so you can just connect it in series to the TV
RF input. However, it does not have an RF modulator so you cannot play DVDs
through the RF cable to the TV. That can only be done through a SCART
connection.

possibilities.

In the UK, the GP+ EPG can be downloaded from ITV1 terrestrial or Eurosport
on the Astra satellite. It is carried within the teletext data stream so if
you can receive teletext on either of those channels, you should have no
trouble.
