Cannot help you with MS soft, as I hardly ever use that, but this CyberHome
DVD player has the slideshow feature build in, and one can even select between\
various fade over modes.
To make the DVDs automatically.. in Linux only requires you to write a
shell script once.
In fact all stuff that runs here uses scripts in one way or another.
All those MS GUI is all humbug bloat.
