Using the 2 channel stereo analog or the R/L pair out of the 5.1 outputs
with the player setup for 2-channel only will accomplsih exactly what you
want then....Even the cheapest name brand av recievers nowadays have 5.1 or
more external inputs, so theres really no excuse to not have it anymore. My
10+ year old Yamaha has them...
