I recently received a new 30gb video iPod. While I like the unit very much
I find using the iTunes software to be very limited and restrictive.
My main concern is that I have moved my MP3 files and photos over to an ext
HDD that is on a home network due to storage issues. I don't like the way
iTunes copies the files back on to my computer everytime I want to add songs
to the iPod.
Can the files be copied to the iPod without moving them from the ext drive
to my pc?
Are there any programs that will do the same as iTunes but not duplicate the
files?
