If wiresless is an absolute must, you could always use 2-way radios
with earpieces, especially if all they have to do is listen to a 1
person (like a director). Something reliable and with multiple
channels like the old Motorola P110 or GP300 (don't know what the newer
replacement models are). Otherwise, as others have said stick with
wired.
