"Published" is defined quite liberal. As long as your work is being
offered for sale/distribution, then it is considered published. Someone
has made an offer to purchase my production, so it seems the work is
considered published.

I've also looked into unpublished work. It's not that much difference,
at least not media wise. Just the number of copies to be deposited.

If I'm wrong concerning this, please provide the correct
interpretation.

Is that true? That would be a great second alternative. In fact it
would be the primary. I had assumed that "videodisk" meant the old huge
round video discs. Does anyone know if "videodisk" truely include DVD?

On a minus side, DVD has a lossy compression and is still not the
original. But I suppose it's at least better quality than VHS, and the
digital bits of a DVD never changes.

I tried. Was put on hold for a while before I had to go. Will try again
later. One recording did mention that the wait time for Copyright
registration is now 6 months.
