Thanks for your well wishes.

I've had a chance to handle both tripods and it's pretty much a
no-brainer: The Sprint Pro is the one I'm taking. The Mini would make
for a good tripod in certain situations so I'll be keeping it, but it
just doesn't extend high up enough and I'm not comfotable with the lack
of quick-release plate. The Pro is about as tall as I am when fully
extended, has a proper pan-head for quick adjustments, a quick release
plate, and a leveling bubble. Although it's almost a pound heavier and
I am literally counting every ounce, for those extra features it is
worth the weight. Thanks for the great recommendation, Bill!
