Don't do it. Use a wired system instead. That's my best advice. And after
20 years in the biz, I've tried 'em all. Some work, but most have some
trade offs, like the one recommended elsewhere in this thread that only lets
2 people talk. While I'm not familiar with that exact one, I suspect that it
has some cycle time between talk avails while one unit hangs on to the
carrier until it decides that the op has finished talking. And if more than
2 try to talk, then we're back to the other problem mentioned of the system
deciding which one of the competing signals to let through.
So, we're back to "don't do it." 8 - 10 W/L units is a LOT. Try to use
wired ones for most, and then use 1 or 2 W/L for your handhelds. But if you
absolutely _MUST_ use wireless, there are only two real names in the biz :
Clear-com and RTS. Anything else is a gamble.
One other thing . . . I remember reading something recently about a new
Clear Com system called "cell-com". Check it out. Might be just the
ticket.
