I haven't tried many other programs out, but overall I think it is
worth it, especially if it is only 39.99. Keep in mind that you can
get the bundle with photoshop elements v4 for $100. It does have some
limitations, but overall it is a pretty nice program. Elements v2 runs
more sluggish on my computer than v1 (my computer = 2.33ghz, 512mb RD
ram, 320gb HD). Sometimes due to the more sluggish behavior, I end up
dropping some frames during capture. You can download a free demo of
v2 on the adobe.com website however they make you register with the
site before downloading it. It is hard to say if it is good unless you
specify more what you will be using it for.
