All those are valid arguments, but I ask, when was the last time you
were in a "crowded" theatre that wasn't some midnight show full of
fanboys and radio station contest winners for the latest comic-book
tent pole? Theatre crowds ain't what they used to be. There are a lot
more screens than there need to be (8-12 plexes are ideal, 20's and
30's are fucking overkill in my opinion), and the box office only holds
relitively steady because of jacked up ticket prices.
