But it's *not* a DVD-ROM -- bitsetting fools the player into *seeing*
it as a DVD-ROM. It helps compatibility on some players, but it's by
no means the same thing. It is indeed a kludge.
I've had better results with DVD-R in more players than I have with
bitset DVD+Rs.
