Thank you for responding. Sorry to take so long with my reply.
I found that TIMER REC BUTTON, and that will work when all
else fails. Thank you.
The Dish Network receiver naturally has built in programming
with it. The programming is normally 48 to 72 house in advance
(not important). You can highlight the program in advance that
you wish to record and the receiver will automatically turn on
on your remote recorder, record the desired program and then
turn off the recorder. I had it connected to my VHS recorder
and worked perfectly. Naturally you had to program the 3 digit
IR code into the Dish Receiver to get it to work.
I found the 3 didit code for the 633. The sat rcvr has a feature
to test the code to make sure it works. I even got it to record
using the DISH Scheduling Guide like it was suppose to. But
ONLY ONCE. It still tests perfect but will no activate the
DVR from the guide again.
I can do it manually as you suggested but it's so much faster
and easier via the guide.
Anyone out there had any experience with this I wonder ?
Thanks again,
JB
