Agreed about the useless parasite part - technology has made those
bloodsuckers redundant and they just won't let go of the host.

However . . . some of the methods for contributing to their demise
are ridiculous.

Musicmatch, iTunes, Napster, et al, pay money to the parasites - and
you would probably agree some of the 99 cent song prices are higher
than purchasing a "discounted" music CD from a retail outlet. (Granted
you can only buy the one or two songs per album that are any good and
save some cash that way - and perhaps pressure the RIAA to change
their model some - likely at the expense of the artist if history is
any indication)

And yeah, I'm just griping because MM, iTunes, Nap don't seem to have
anything I want to listen to, just that crap they play on the radio.
I have more faith in extra legal remedies than anything the world's
governments (corporations) will allow.
