I'm using CDeX 1.51 and I have not had any luck getting a new version of
Lame to work as an external encoder. I have a newer version of lame that
what came with the CDeX package.

Can I update the the older Lame by copying the newer version over the
older version in the CDeX directory (folder?

Has anybody had any luck doing this, or using the new version as an
external encoder ?
