I`ll second mailwasher - and as a bonus, if you don`t download the
shit to your machine in the first place* you can`t be infected by
virus ridden emails either.

* Mailwasher grabs the first 25 lines or so of every email, viruses
are always a lot bigger than that - since you mark them for deletion
direct from the mail server, a full virus never gets as far as being
on your system, as it does with k9

I`ve got a fairly comprehensive set of filters for mailwasher - drop
me a line per my sig if you want them - i`ve started to block APNIC
and LACNIC regions using regular expressions, and they`re blocking
something like 50% of all my spam in one fell swoop (takes 3 filters
in total IIRC)

* remember the keyword in the subject to bypass my filters :-p
