Hi all,
I need an mp3 player which can play about 400 different short files in
random order. The files contain voice recordings, which will probably be
recorded at 24k mono, although I could record them larger if necessary. I
would like a way to recharge the thing in my car. I think 128 megabytes
should be enough, if it will accept 24k mono. Oh, and I'd like it to look
like crap, so no-one will be tempted to hit me over the head and take it off
me. I will transfer the files from my Windows XP computer.
I'm looking at most of the ones on the following page, but I have no way of
knowing if they will be compatible with 24k mono. If they will only accept
128k stereo, I would need 512 Meg or maybe a Gigabyte.

Sadly, these are all exempt from Argos' 16-day-money back offer, so I can't
just suck it and see.
