I have been ripping audiobook CD's into 16 KBPS mono WMA files for
uploading to a Sansa M260 using the [freeware] FairStars CD ripper.

Turns out that the resulting mono files are the same size as WMA
stereo files from this ripper, sugesting an incomplete implementation
of the mono option and too-big resulting files.

Is there a ripper that will produce a low-rez WMA mono file that is
half the size of the stereo-option file?
