You are correct Geno except my manual compatibility is on page 15 for
the 5005 and page 16 for the LVC-9006.

For some reason I quit using Minus disk.
I don't remember why.. Maybe because they would not play on a Mintek or
Cyberhome player. I'll try one more..

Interesting. I bought the LiteOn 5005 specifically because it records on
both + and - disks.
If you have the same manual I do, look at page 13, third paragraph,
i.e., after the heading "LVW-5005 model only".
