I'm having a problem with the 25th Anniversary Blues Brothers DVD on
my computer. I was trying to play the "Minnie the Moocher" number,
and it won't play all the way through. I'm using PowerDVD 6 with
Windows XP; I tried it on both of my DVDROM drives--a Lite-On DVDRW
SOHW-1693S, and a Nu DVDRW DDW-082. In both cases, the video freezes
partway into the song (whether I play it off the DVD movie, or off of
the musical highlights special features menu), the drive light
flickers a lot, and the PowerDVD software stops responding and I
finally have to kill it from Program Manager. Oddly enough, the
freezes happen at different points depending on which drive I use.
Is anyone having a similar problem? Is it likely to be a defective
disc, or are there issues with the disc itself?
