I have seen this symptom when the DVD recorder was a DVD-R and I was
trying to copy (using Nero's Copy selection, not remastering) to a
DVD+R. The +R format is just a slight number of sectors fewer than the
-R format. Something that the standalone recorder did to the DVD-R that
it made was telling Nero that every single sector was used. I had to
use a DVD-R as the destination for the copy and then it worked.
Could be your problem if you are using a +R as the destination of the copy.
