You might suggest something like the "JVC Everio 5.0MP Digital Camcorder
Model: GZ-MC500" at about $1300.00 US (you'll have to translate that
into Aussie $$). Easy to use, especially with Microdrive instead of
tape. However, he will still need to purchase a NLE software program to
do the editing.
