I asked a friend of mine who uses FCP and here's his answer. If you
have any more questions, ask away.

24P (Cine-Look) is a Progressive mode at 24 frames per second. These
images are converted to 60 field interlaced using a 3:2 pulldown. 24P
Advanced is also 24 frames per second and are converted to 60 field
interlaced by using an advanced structure of 2:3:3:2 as the pulldown.
24P Adv. mode is best suited for true film transfers and was not
intended for video. Both work with FCP but how is the final project
going to end up being shown or distributed? That is the important
question.
