Just to confirm, you are referring to the update and not Microsoft.Net
Framework itself, right?
If that is the case, then all I can suggest is to send an email to Sony Tech
Support with the details of the exception error. This page is at
http://tinyurl.com/3xxq4
Usually when this happens, a box pops up saying that you have an error and
gives you a tab labeled "Details" that you can click on. It'll come up with
a long string of text and numbers. Copy/paste this into your message to
them. It may take a week or so but you will get a response.
The other suggestion is to sign up for the Sony Vegas forum as there are a
lot of very knowledgeable & helpful folks there. You'll need to register
