Definitely, I got the Critters box set a while ago, one of the 4 films
sucked badly (the one where they invade an apartment block) but the
others are enjoyable.

Have you looked into the films put out by Full Moon entertainment? they
could be classed as a 'shite horror franchise' all of their own, bad but
enjoyable horror & sci-fi type films made back in the 80s/early 90s,
notably series like Trancers, Puppetmaster & Subspecies.
