Hello. I'd like to master a DVD designed for playback on standalone
DVD players. I would like to be able to spin up the disk and cue it to
a particular chapter by only using the pause/play and forward/back
chapter buttons of the player (and without using any on-screen
menus).

The answer would seemingly be to create an auto-play DVD. However,
Apple's low-end product, iDVD, does not allow placing a video with
chapter markers in the auto-play section of the DVD. I suspect this is
a limitation of their software and not the DVD format.

Does Final Cut Express allow one to do this? Any other
Mac-suggestions?
