Goes into showing how blatantly they aren't dealing with the legality
of the situation. Assuming that the music is somebody's property,
allofmp3 has to receive permission from the owner before it starts
distributing it - the article says nothing about that. The article
does say that the situation of the downloaders themselves depends on
where they are located - no boon to those poor downtrodden proles of
the US of A. The fact that some of the money goes to the artists (and
who guarantees that? or how much?) doesn't begin to explain how the
artists will be compensated for prices depressed by a market that must
share space with the insanely low-prices of allofmp3.
