yes, sure.
try to pan/crop in the events movement settings. there is also a
"stretch to fill frame" and save aspect-switch

i am not sure if this is clip-wise or whole track only possibly, but in
the latter case you can always sort your footages to two tracks as well
for an emergency solution.
