I've been waiting a month for the first disc of Battlestar Galactica
and it's still a VLW. Blockbuster doesn't even have it at their brick
and mortar stores.

I suspect someone is asleep at the switch and does not get enough
discs. I wrote Netflix twice about the delay with BG but I just as
well piss in the wind.
