You sure have become a stupid fuck, Cyg-anus. You leave out the part inthat article where the author says only the AV output was used "which
only provides S-video and composite". That shows that author is more
stupid and ignorant than you. Uh, HELLO, the AV output provides
COMPONENT, dipshits. He calls them "demo units". Wrong again, moron.
They are DEVKITS, the near final ones. Devkits are not necessarily
one-to-one crossovers to the final console. If anything, it looks like
Sony may be looking at providing an AV output for compatibility with
SDTV and older HDTV. The more rational and least hysterical answer for
Sony to not be using the HDMI on the booth floor units is the HDMI
interface has not been finalized yet, as they clearly stated at their
conference, so they wanted to make sure what they had on the booth
floor was going to work as expected when people played with them. It
also shows that the chicken-little view that the PS3 would not be
playable on anything but HDMI 1.3 HDTV is more paranoid hysterida. If
anything, it looks like Sony is looking at having to add the AV
connector so all bases are covered. No big deal, just another
connector. The demos on stage were being run and shown in 1080p,
showing that the HDMI is working, just not finalized. Again, no great
mystery to another attempt at hysterical misleading and deception on
your part. You are becoming more and more mentally unbalanced as the
PS3 launch gets closer and closer. No doubt, there will be a small
article in the Chicago newspapers about a white truck having to take
away a babbling, drooling idiot that went totally psycho in November.
