My hookup is as follows:
I have setup with a VHS hooked up into my cable. From there, the line
goes to a DVR from my cable Company, and finally to the set.
From the three RCA Phono output plugs (video, audio, audio) I run a set
of coax cables to a CameraMate box, and thus into my computer.
It is my intention to copy either from the DVR or the VHS into my
computer, and then burn onto a DVD. The Movies I copy from the DVR are
very high in quality, and I presume that they go from a digital to a
digital form. However, when I try to put a tape on my computer, the
picture is rather poor in quality. I presume that it is from an analog
to digital, with no compensating software. Further, I am not aware of
any type of this software. Can anyone guide me, as to either what I am
doing wrong, or what software should I use for this problem.
Thank you.
