That's the way I saw it to. It seemed more like a palce for an advert break
than for the season finale to take place. As soon as you watch the start of
the second series, you'll soon forget all about the flat ending of the first
though.

With Lost you've got to understand it's not about getting to the
destination, it's about enjoying the ride. They're going to string it out
for years, so you've just got to enjoy it on an episode by episode basis, or
not bother with it at all.
