If this procedure unlocks the region code then you can play a DVD from any
region - the whole process will be transparent and you won't have to do
anything specific when you play a DVD. ie pop in a region 2 and it will
play, pop in a region 1 and it will play. All this assumes the code is
correct.
So the simple answers is it will play anything!
