I tape dance conventions and have the same problem as the people
shooting school events.
One person buys a set and makes copies for all their friends. Somehow
they can't seem to grasp that it is stealing same as walking into a
dept. store and stealing something there.
When it gets to the point that the videographer can't make enough
money to make it worthwhile they move on to something else and
eventually there are no more fools left willing to take on that aspect
of production.
It's also a reflection on the state of morality and integrity in our
Country or should I say the lack thereof.
Modern technology has added it's own grief to this as it is easier to
copy DVD's than tapes but the customers all demand DVD's.
