I have 3 dvd playing programs on my computer

1 Power DVD 3 (came with my external HP burner)
2 Interactual Player 2.6 (i think that was on one of the LOTR dvd's)
3 Windows Meda Player 9

I have 2 dvd drives

1 HP dvd200e
2 Sony DW-Q28A

Both of these drives are set to region 1. I am in the US and every dvd
i own is region 1. Nevertheless, interactual and windows media player
both indicate i am set to region 8 and refuse to play DVDs. Power DVD,
OTOH, will play all my dvds with no trouble. Any ideas on how to fix
this?
