If you are just using p2p to share vid-clips and commercials, you don't
need to worry too much about anonymity. - The targets of the enforcmen
are music, movie and software files, as you point out.

In general, Tor will anonymize search requests, but it is not good to
route actual file data over the network. - The large bandwidth required
cannot be handled by the Tor Network and many Tor nodes take steps to
block p2p traffice for this reason.

There are several purpose-made anonymous p2p systems, but all are slower
than 'traditional' p2p, and for this reason none have really taken off
yet, as far as I know:
