This is why I still haven't come around to buying much on region 2, even
though R1 isn't as cheap as it used to be. Everytime I borrow an R2 disc
off anyone, they are always full of this shit. What is it with
British/European distributers thinking that patronising, insulting and
harrasing their customers is a good way to win more business?

The one that got most up my nose featured an unskippable lecture (crappy
text screen, with a voice over reading the text) on how the disc wasn't
licensed for rental. GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK!

Anything more than a single 2-3 second copyright/disclaimer message is
an abuse of the format, IMHO.
