Aren't food nutritionists or whoever trying to stop junk food adverts
(Muckdonalds etc.) from being shown during times when kids are most
likely to watch tv? I'd have thought this would be in the same vein, at
least with a tv you can skip channels but forcing you to watch non-film
adverts on a DVD is taking the piss.

I have seen a Bounty advert on a very old ex-rental VHS but I consider
that acceptable because you can use the fast forward.


Can't some DVD players can be hacked so they ignore the non-skip flags,
enabling you to skip past any clip?
