I'm quite sure your numbers on teen pregnancy actually reflect pregnancy
outside of wedlock, which, as I said, rose because vastly large numbers
of people stayed in high school instead of leaving to get married after
finishing grade school, while it was extremely difficult for teens to
obtain birth control in any form.
Statistics on rape and family violence are severely skewed by the fact
that, as I said, before the 1960's most family violence was never
reported, and rape was severely under-reported.
Since then, I have never heard a report of a decline in the rate, which
means it must now exceed 1000%. Just kidding-- but my point being that
most agencies that deal with certain social problems always like to
report that their services are needed more than ever...
The murder rate did rise through the 1980's. You blame it on the
liberals? Somehow I doubt that you will attribute the decline in the
murder rate during the Clinton years as due to Clinton's administration.
You can't have it both ways. Either there is a more scientific
explanation, or you just pick and choose...
Charming picture of those segregated schools praying every morning and
reading the 10 commandments...
Life is complex.
